Serenade
How does this work? Can I use any tiles? Do they have to be in order? Or can they be completely selected from random on the board?
9:43 am
EvaNadine
serenade - the tiles you use in each word must be touching (top, bottom, sides, diagonally) and you can only use each tile once per word
9:46 am
Serenade
thanks, I found the rules.

i could use some help on the N7/28, O7/40, and the S7/52...havent found any of the Ns yet, actually...

If those are the only big ones you're missing, then you've already got the S/7/52. It's a part of another word. ;)
For the O - consider a contest among authors (akin to a pie-eating type of contest). The winner would be said to have "O******" the others. It's a bit archaic, but does make sense and isn't totally obscure.
The N is plural of an N6 which is a very common, everday type of word. Think outdoors. The third N is an N5/10 that appears in these puzzles pretty often.
1:14 pm

all i have of those is the S. Think about how one carries a sword.
1:26 pm
EvaNadine
ahh, i had the S6 version of that word...didnt know about the variable in spelling!
1:30 pm
EvaNadine
ok, got the O7, now i just gotta work on the Ns...none of them are popping out at me, so i think i gotta noodle! hehe

I believe the 6 is the noun and the 7 is the verb.
1:34 pm

ahh! finally got the N6/7 combo! one of those *DUH* moments! gonna noodle around for the N5 now!

The last 7 is a D/44--it's an obscure spelling of an obscure cereal grain that's shown up here before--play with a gloomy D4 to find it.
