She used to tell me stories about the customers that made me CRY laughing. For those listening, Shanty by the Sea is a seafood restaurant, but it's on LAKE Champlain. LAKE, people. The customers would ask things like "now, did you catch this cod right out in the lake?
and "what ocean are we looking at?

One of the customers, who took the ferry down to Canada, when asked how her boat trip had been replied "A little disappointing. We hoped to see more dolphins than we did." Secondo told them they were lucky they saw any, most people don't, Then she and the wait staff howled in the kitchen. To this day we ponder over what the hell they saw in that lake.
