i think to be a police person, one must have enormous training. they are faced with making life and death decisions in a split second and if they choose wrong they are killed or someone else is.......i say it is like sending soldiers to war and telling them not to kill......very very difficult.

what i find most upsetting is the response to police. if a cop were to approach me for ANY REASON, i would raise my hands and arms and stay still.......and from the videos i have seen, often the person they approach tries to flee or run or becomes unwilling to just stay still!!!!!!! and then if they are killed, the world is furious........but if they are fighting the police the assumption should be that they might be armed and dangerous. so what is a cop to do???? the videos from furgason were awful as the man killed did not stop and stay still.

i remember being stopped on the road for speeding and the cop was a small woman. she was screaming at me and behaving as if i was a very dangerous criminal. i just sat there and after a while said to her""why are you treating me like a hardened murderer?" she backed down a bit but only a bit. and if i were black............well who knows. she may have shot me.

I use purified distilled water in my neti pot.

Temple, I hadn't thought about saline spray. Could try that --- kind of afraid of the spray getting near the sores. The Efudex is on the outside of my nose, and attacks in areas around it too.
