Agreed, Soodle. We made champagne mimosas and got up at 7am to watch. I personally thought JLo paled in comparison to Gaga, because ... only Beyonce is on the same par as Gaga. Likewise, as much as I like Garth, I wish a more powerful singer like Dolly Parton or Josh Groban had handled Amazing Grace. Really appreciated ALL the parties and opinions came together for the ceremony (except T of course.) And wasn't that poet Amanda Gorman spectacular? She is worthy of Maya and Langston.
