There are music genres I loathe - any genre named after a dwelling (house, garage...)...Trance, Hip Hop - but I totally get that they ARE music genres - and ones that give a lot of people a lot of pleasure. They make my brain leak out of my ruptured eardrums, but that's simply my personal taste. Lots of people hate the folk music I listen to - my other half calls them 'minor key dirges'. To each their own!
