There's quite a bit a research that suggests that a raw diet helps with pancreatitis. And truthfully, I didn't want a raw diet either...it's a lot of work. But the animal hospital that I take her too are all on board with it which we were a little surprised about too. But their message for us was that most vets are not for it because it can be dangerous if the owner is not super committed to ensuring the right combination and balance of meat types (organ, muscle, bone, etc).
