Dauber, I've been through IVDD surgery with 2 dachshunds. Its frightening and requires a lot of patience because they have to be crated for so long. Check out ideas on how to keep the dog calm and quiet online. That is about the most important thing.

for anyone who persists in ignorance over mask-wearing in public, here is the deal... even though one is vaccinated, one may be a carrier of the virus and transmit it to others. This is more likely with the Delta variant, as it may present as asymptomatic in individuals who are vaccinated, but it is many times more transmissible than other strains of Covid. One has only to be within a few feet of someone in order to contract the Delta variant. So, mask wearing should be mandated. It is quite ridiculous that it is not.

I have personally lost 4 people from my life to the finality of death-by-covid and I have tried to stay abreast of all the current medical information. I regularly speak to my doctors about covid and therefore, I feel confidant I never spread disinformation. Try a little empathy and step out of your bubble missy.
