Yep! A little worried about Simba (the long, rangy ginger fluffy Ginger Ninja) at present. He's started to come to me for more on the lap evening cuddles in the past couple of weeks and, stroking him, I realised that underneath all that fur he's a bag of bones and it feels like his bones might break through his flesh at any moment. As far I can tell, he doesn't have any internal parasites, but what I did notice recently is that the normal brand of sachets of wet cat food we can get now (it's been a bit short in supply in shops for a couple of months now) even though it's from Northern Ireland, has a different feeding recommendation on it. The packs we get now must have less potash filler in them or something, because rather than 3 sachets per day it says 4 on the foreign market ones. I hope I haven't been inadvertently starving my largest cat for the past couple of months! I've started giving both the Ginger Ninja's an extra half sachet of food with each meal and more dry food. Daisy Cat, their sister doesn't ne4.5 it, since she's less active and very well padded. Just have to make sure she doen't poke her nose into her brothers' food bowls.

I used to cook fresh food for my old cats, but this lactose-intolerant trio, get runny tummies if any slight change of diet happens.
