He's got a form of bone cancer - dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma - really rare, only a handful of cases diagnosed in the UK every year. His cancer came back in his leg in May, so it was amputated in July. Unfortunately he's now got metastes in his lungs. Prognosis is poor. Hoping we can get him onto a trial

The trial is at Sloan Kettering - expecting to recruit 17 patients only. Been open since March 2020 already and still recruiting. Cost of a trial in America would be prohibitive for us with flights, treatment, scans, accommodation, etc and obviously no medical insurance in the US
