oh knitting is something I could never catch on to. I crochet, quilt, make clothing without patterns. . . but I finally gave up trying to knit after trying (and taking lessons) for 40 years. . .I so admire that skill

My mom taught me how to knit when I was 12, and that was over 50 years ago. I can crochet but prefer knitting. That is very cool you can make clothing w/o a pattern. My sister quilts and sews garments.
