Here in SA some clever person has started an online site for the sale of 2nd hand books which operates like any buy online site - choose the books you want, pay for the books and a delivery charge and voila books for less than half the price of new.

I assume they make a profit because of lot of the books would have been donated to them - good way to get rid of unwanted books
