yes I read that too --- I don't understand why anyone would want to live under Putin's fist. It is just sickening to see how people in Russia live. We had the opportunity to do a home visit at one of the towns we stopped in on our Russian cruise. As it was approved by government officials, I assume this was the home of one of the more affluent citizens. It turned out to be what I would describe as a 1930's prairie farmhouse -- rright down to the decor, furniture and appliances.
