Where do you get the babble stats from?
1:24 am
sprite
We make them ourselves. It takes a couple of tricks to get it done without seeing the words, but a friend of mine made a statmaker that makes it a little easier (less time consuming). Most of us enjoy it more when there are stats, so we know what we are aiming for. ;-)

Congratulations Sprite that was one BIG grid yesterday. It must have taken you hours.

Thanks, that is a new word for me! :-)

@ Mal: I must confess... it did, and I enjoyed every minute! Rarely happens that a day off coincides with a big grid. It was a real challenge.

Sprite clever you!

metags, I like the O7!
Lacking quickness of perception or intellect - not for babblers, then ;-)

I like the word too! my excuse for playing Babble is that it helps keep my mind nimble. But playing too much makes me O7 :-D
3:05 am

That's for sure. I really slipped up with copying the recap yesterday, totally O7d by the giant grid. :-)

Ah, F7/48, nice one!

Interesting T7/40: pipes, nozzles, or other openings through which air is forced into a blast furnace or forge to facilitate combustion.

Anyone playing who can help me with the last C? It must be a 6. So far I have C6/24 x 3 and C6/33.
5:20 am

Found it by noodling. It is another C6/33, a dead language.

oreo is a proper name.
And that T/7/40 pipes is a great word that I was so psyched to know! I do combustion modeling as part of my job, and learned that word from a client a couple months ago talking about modeling his burner. It actually appeared in a grid a couple weeks ago too. It's fun to know obscure words!

For a moment I thought that the T7 word was a kind of Cheese! :-)

T/7/36 is one more than R/6/24, which isn't worth what it was under Stalin.

too bad you can't combine the r/7/48 with the f/7/48

stats are nice but there's no way your're not seeing the words. How can you account for a perfect score of 495 words?

Krys10
i was lurking around on Sunday (work day for me, never a Babble day) and I was impressed with the big 495 monster. I think that's the biggest I've seen - does anyone remember a bigger one? And I think the smallest I've seen is about 37...

there was one this past summer that was 425 i spent the whole day on it
