Things You Should Know

flowers on end of broom worked for one guy - the bird flew down low enough to see the door. took nectar before realizing she could leave. before, he was just going from orange to red objects stored near ceiling - none of the dull colored things drew her at all. the flowers were instant attraction.

just remember, the more you bother the bird, the more energy is uses as it is stressed. java's suggestion of dark garage and nectar outside, red not required, give it peace and quiet, just stop bothering the poor thing please. No peeking means at least an hour.
