I know of a guy in a nearby town that bought bazillions of the sets at yard sales, just to get the wooden balls. He painted them to match his house trim and attached them to the "wedding cake" trim all over under the roof edge, makes a cute "fringe-y ball" effect. Like some do to their car windshields. Makes me smile when I drive by. :D
